Wow how time flies. I swear it was just yesterday that I was starting my two week vacation and doing some last minute Christmas shopping!
We had a fabulous Christmas vacation. Beyond the presents we got to spend some time catching up with family and friends. I hope all of you were blessed with these specials times as well.
Santa was extremely good to all of us this year. The family got a PS3, Santa brought Zach a fort (A Rubbermaid shed that will convert to a storage shed when he outgrows the fort. Thanks for helping put it together Larry!) and an iPod Nano, Wendy got a new cell phone and tickets to the Lion King which is coming to OKC in May, and I got a gift card for a new grill and fabulous new slippers to wear to work! It was all perfect!
New Year's Eve was spent with our close friends at Noel's house. We played Guitar Hero World Tour (I love playing the drums!) and ESPN Trivia. Again, a fantastic time with great company.
On New Year's Day Zach and I made the drive to Garden City to spend some time with my Mom and other family there. I got to see my new nephew Brayden who was born the day after Thanksgiving. He was premature and weighed only 3 pounds, but is doing great. He is already up to 5 pounds. We had fun spending time with Mom and two of my brothers. It was nice to relax and catch up with everyone.
